I'm way late with these but better late than never.

Before BET became............well......BET, it used to have a decent show called Rap City.

Hosted by cool VJ in Joe Clair and the ultimate around the way girl Leslie "Big Lez" Segar.


Back than rap wasn't the mess it is now everything was new, innovated, sincere and somewhat innocent, and Rap City and Big Lez personified that.

Most dudes I knew had a crush on Lez, she was the girl next door that you wanted to get with and if you couldn't you didn't want to see her done dirty.

She managed to be sexy in a wholesome sort of way that only she seems could only pull off and make believable.



Yeah you wanted to do all sorts of nasty things to her in the bedroom, but you wouldn't mind putting a ring on her finger to do it.

Yeah the woman is a notorious swagga jacka.

She out right jacked other peoples songs.

She jacked their wardrobes.

She makes "you go girl" songs, (damn good ones though).

She DEMANDS the spot light at the expense of every one around her.

And she has successfully muscled her way into the exclusive club of black actors and actresses that can find work consistently at the expense of season and more talented thespians.

And to add insult to injury she is in the even more exclusive clique of actors that pretty much get what ever they want done, (Denzel, Will, Jamie and Halle, although she got one more bad movie to make and her ass is out the club).

And that boys and girls is why she is Stunna of the month.

The woman is a go getter!!!

She is in it to win it!!!

I got to respect her grind.

She has an army of haters but she could care less she keeps it coming.

I love that.

It doesn't hurt that she is fine as hell too.

So Stunna for May is MS. Beyonce.

She also has the juice to get movies made with black people in it that we wouldn't normally see.

Tell the truth now who else could have gotten Obsessed on the big screen and make it win at the box office?

Stunna of the Month: Salma Hayek

I wasnt sure who I was going to put on for this month, I felt greatly uninspired by many of the women currently working out there, and hell after Michelle Obama everyone else I was thinking seemed pale in comparison.

The women I have put were not just eye candy they either were game changers in their field or my life, what I am trying to avoid is this turning into an eye candy piece, anyone can do that.

So I was going to ask readers who they would like to see when I cam across this vid that I used for a previous post.

I am sorry but that right there warmed my heart.

That is giving of your self that I just wasnt expecting at all, caught me completely by surprised.

Maybe the cynic in me is at the point that I just dont expect nice things from people with out an agenda.

But not this time I have no answers for a woman that pulls her breast out and feeds a starving child with her milk.



Only thing I can say is bravo.

I cant think of any woman who I know who would do something like that.

I cant look at any celebrity and say they would do the same.

Naw...this lady is bucking for Mother Teresa teritority right there.

Some old Sainthood, and she has my vote.

So I am going to put Salma on for this one.

Back to the Stunnas of the Months!!

I stopped posting these cause I really didn't see any women that moved me anywhere other in my pants.

But why pass on an opportunity to drool at beautiful women because they are not building rockets to Mars?

So for January I open back up the Stunnas of the month with Toccara Jones.



Toccara Jones (born March 13, 1981) from Dayton, Ohio, is an American fashion model, occasional actress and television personality.

Jones was a contestant on the third season of the UPN series America's Next Top Model.

Jones attended Stivers School for the Arts in Dayton, where she majored in theatre and dance.

She was the seventh contestant eliminated on the third cycle of America's Next Top Model, where she won "Covergirl of the Week" four times. She was recently voted as one of the most memorable contestants by AOL Entertainment

Jones was honored by the Middleton Ohio NAACP at the Freedom Fund Gala. She received a key to the city.....

Now Toccara is what we call Amazon, meaty in all the right places and height to go with it.



Type of women that when you see her makes you hungry for some catfish that don't come out of no lake.



You look at her and the way she carries her self and you see promises of satisfaction guaranteed.


Curves above and below the stomach area crowned with a oval face big eyes, thick lips and a smile that lights up a room.


Stunna of the month is Toccara Jones.

Deal Breaker 5: Low Self Esteem.

For those who have not gotten locked up, admitted to the hospital, alcohol poisoning, woken up to a stranger an are now on the way to get tested for a STI, and or have a hangover..........I am sorry your New Years was so damn boring.

For those who did do one or more of the above....at a boy and girl.

Moving on.

There is nothing more unattractive than a woman with low self esteem, nothing.

I don't care how fine she is.

You can pull any woman off my Stunna list here, to see the type of woman who I think are fine.

But take away those same women's poise, confidence, swagga?

Than they are the ugliest trolls to walk the earth.

Ive come across women like that all the time in my adventures in romance.

Women who think a man who beats on them is showing them love.



Women who look at super models and swear they themselves are too fat.


Women who look at video models and swear they themselves are too skinny.


Dark skin women who want to be light.


Light skin women who want to be dark.


My favorites are the ones who like to break down their blood line to you, I got Indian, Arab, white, Chinese, or what ever in them.


Like I can tell or care.

Now don't get me wrong in a country were beauty is obsessed over, and the media plays mind tricks on what that beauty looks like women have it tough.

You would have to raise a little girl in a cave away from TV, magazines, Internet and boys to get her mind completely right.

But that's little girls, I shouldn't have to put up with a grown woman depressed because her insecurities kick in the moment she doesn't get enough attention.

Tell her she is beautiful she thinks your teasing her.

Another woman walks in the room and she think you want to sleep with her.

Blames every one but her self for the way she feels.

How you see your self is what other people will pick up on and give right back to you.

You got to love your self before some can love you.

Stunna of the month 18: September: Erika Alexander

I wasn't sure I was going to post a Stunna of the month for September, I didn't feel motivated by any women lately.

But than I was watching TV One the other night and came across a Living Single marathon.

I always liked that show, not sure why since I tend to shy away from all entertainment geared toward women.

I guess it was because of the lack of quality programing for black people at the time, (and now), that when you came across a good show you stuck with it.

Living Single was good, and no one was better on it than Maxine Shaw played by Erika Alexander.


She stole the show, just by standing there.

The character Maxine seemed to be the exact opposite of Erika who always seemed cool calm and collected off camera while her character Maxine was hell in heels.

She stood out from the rest, her walk (I swear she was going to tip over any moment in those high heel), the Sharp business suits, the dreads, the way she injected swagga into her character, her go getta attitude and out right hostility, I wasn't sure if I had a crush on the character or the actress.

I look at that as a sign of good acting.

Bottom line, the woman is just hands down sexy.



And of course like all good black actors and especially actresses now you see them now you don't.

When Living Single went off the air she was vanished from my memory, making appearances in shows or movies I don't watch.

Another in a long line of under used talent.

I hated that Living Single went off the air robbing me of my chance to see Erika on the tube on a regular basis.

Hell I think I got bitter with it, till this day I hate the show Girlfriends, always saw it as a knock off, a sophisticated knock off, but a knock off none the less.

So with that said My Stunna of the month for September is Erika Alexander.

Stunna of the Month 17: August; Michelle Obama

For those that don't know or who are new to this blog, I like to run a regular post called, Stunna of the Month.

This is were I honor certain women whose work and or beauty has had an effect on the lives of others and mine in some way or another.

You'll find them under the tag Stunna.

They range from very popular women to some you might not have heard of, famous to notorious, some you would call role models others you might not want around you worst enemies kids, but they all had and influence on me constantly stirring the stew called my brain, adding their own personal ingredients to my view of what a woman should be, could be, is.

Some of the women just came along at the right time in my life, like Ebony Ayes did when I kid hitting puberty.

Some I just cant shake off their swagga like Ms.Naomi "Give Em Hell" Campbell.

Others were for touching me inside like Nina Simone does with her singing.

They all mean something to me.

And now I am going to add another one to that list, Michelle Obama.


I have been avoiding putting her on because of the the fanatic support from everyone she draws.

I didn't want to look like another band wagon jumper.

But lets be honest, the woman is bad ass.


Educated, successful, loyal, honest, ambitious, good looking, the woman is out right dangerous.


And that speech at the DNC?

Well it was the final slam dunk in a blow out for the hearts of men.

Her stand by her man persona is a big turn on, and while she is going to be a hell of a role model for women out there she really is going to do a number on men.

I can see cats now turning to their girl thinking, (if there smart), or saying, (if there stupid), why cant you be more like Michelle?


All of a sudden marriage doesn't look so bad to a salty dog such as my self.

This isn't some made up mom on a sitcom that every boy had a crush on as a kid like we did with Clair Huxtable.

Only to meet some girl who gives you a quick reality check.

This one is real right in front of your face.

I'm kinda of curious to see how the next batch of little brothas turn out after growing up with her.

So in short the stunna of the Month of August, who is now officially the sexiest woman alive, Michelle Obama.

She has real acting skill and a face made for the big screen.



Whats great about her is that the actress has positioned her self in some great movies that has kept her out there in the public eye.

I was channel surfing when I came across this video on BET, (don't ask), they were doing a special countdown hosted by Kanye West were he was going over his favorite music videos which were all directed by Hype Williams (my man needs to make another movie asap).

The video that was playing was Taral Hicks remake of Silly.


I forgot all about this woman which is impressive since I got the movie Belly and I always repeat the love scene between her and DMX.

Actually can any one really call that a love scene?

It was more of a borderline mugging, but sexy like.

This is another woman that never seems to get enough air time on radio and the big screen.

I also forgot how stunning the lady looks, which than made me want to dust off the Stunna list which I put to bed a while back.



It was getting to hard to pick well rounded or meaningful women every week so I just quit it.

So no I am bring it back once a month starting with June and Taral.

Stunna of the Month June: Beverly Johnson

Nothing particularly special about this pick, I just always thought she was a good looking woman.

Word is she is a little on the nutty side when it comes to relationships but that could just mean she is passionate.....................or bat shit crazy.
