Wow, I thought this old fox would out last me.
Fidel Castro the greatest American antagonist has stepped down from power, and I for one will miss him.
It is said it part of a series of steps to usher in a peaceful transition of power in Cuba, and the marking of the old fox's impending demise.
Say what you will about the man he stuck to his guns against an unfair embargo and pressure from the U.S.A.
But thats not why I liked him I liked him because he gave what he had to the under privilage nations of the world.
Doctors to poor people who needed it in places like Haiti, soldiers in Angola, educators in latin America, and real sanctions against apartied South Africa.
He is on my hero list.

The IRS has been steady pimping me for the last three years, because I spend my own money now they want to give me money to spend, I need to find a baby mama who is not filing and claim her kids.

Olympics
If you do not know by now there is a little noise going on about Beijing hosting the Olympics being that they are such a large investor in Sudan which is practicing genocide in Darfur.
Steven Spielberg has decided not to become the artistic advisor of the event in protest of Darfur.
There is now a Team Darfur that of now has 50 athletes that have although not boycott but will use the event to high light the issue of Darfur.
As usual the corporate sponsors have decided to keep on spending, GM, McDonald’s, Coco-Cola and Eastman Kodak have decided that they can deal with the body count and keep on selling.
Bet if the body piles were made of dogs they would pull out with the quickness.
Here is my thing, I really do not expect much out of China because of their human rights violations, which makes me wonder how they won their Olympic bid in the first place.
This is also the same country that has one of their state sponsored sculpters building the Martin Luther King monument to go to Washington.

How serious are we supposed to take that?
Any way I’ll probably only watch a portion of the Olympics anyway, the event has lost its luster a long time ago, besides my favorite events the Track and Field portion, is so juiced it’s not funny.
You could probably launch a rocket into space from the urine samples they’ll get from those runners.

Sorry I left you, without a dope blog to step to.
I have become a B.O.R.E, a Blogger On the Run Eating.
School and work have steadily been interfering with my blogging time.
Than you throw in that scam called a Valentine and things got more tense, I've been hot boxing Cupid all week.

Stunna of the Week 14: Buffy the Body.
Well this week was tough so I decided to let this one out of the bag.
Buffy the Body the gold standard of the video queens.
I have been split about how I feel about miss Buffy here.
True she is part of a movement of exploitation of women in the music industry in particular Hip-Hop.
Walking talking props selling very unrealistic dreams to boys and girls of the world.
Butt, (my bad), let’s take a closer look at her place in the world of beauty.
The media will tell women exactly what’s wrong with them and high light it every hour, every day for the rest of their lives.
If you do not look like this than you suck, and you need to do something about it ASAP, just to sum it up.
And of course the standard is usually a sickening slim white woman with long hair.
Now if you are black you really can’t get white without bleaching and going all Michael Jacksonish.
So instead the standard is pushed of a slim light skinned woman say like the young Lena Horne, Vanessa Williams or the Holy Grail herself Halle Berry.
Now what is exactly the difference in damage to a young girl’s psych than having to select between Halle Berry or say Angela Jolie?
Seems both are unrealistic to me.
Enter counter attack sponsored by Hip-Hop and Buffy.
Rap has taken the stripper body to new heights with the insistence on using women like special effects for their videos, and I am only half mad at them for it, (like mad right after I unglue my eyes from the TV set).
The standards have been flipped.
Having a “thick” body is required.
Damn what shade of the Black Rainbow she comes in, Red Bone to Midnight Blue, as long as her body fits the terms, Stallion, Brick house, Pony, Thickness, Butter, Country, and Thoroughbred, (those are the only ones I can think of right now), she is good.
Who knows why most black men have this focus, some say it goes all the way back to Africa, a “healthy” looking woman was the sign of a wealthy woman or something like that.
Which I guess would make it genetic, but I am no expert on why just why not.
I don’t try to fight it I just chalk it up to instincts and roll with it.
But as usual I digress.

I am losing focus here, the point is Buffy is sexy as hell and is smart enough to get paid for it.
She is riding the hell out of her butt, right into a beautiful cold cash sunset.
And I am not mad at her for it.
If her image is just as damaging to little girls I do not know.

Now any one has seen my post regarding PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, know I hate them.
Some might chalk this up to me not liking there involvment in the Mike Vick case, which is true but not because I thought Vick was a great human being, but more because I dont believe an animals life is worth jail time off the rip, and the fact that PETA decided to contribute to a lynching type atmosphere in that case.
I value human life over an animals any day of the week, and this is coming from a dog lover.
But if it came down to me an old Yella well guess who is catching the bullet.
Now who remembers this sick bastard here called Christopher McCuin?
This is the sick puppy who decided to make a happy meal out of his girlfriend Jana Shearer.
Now I avoided blogging about this because:
1- I had to get the jokes out my system first
2- ashamed that it was a brotha
3- I suspect their is mental issues involved and I perfer not to blame people for not being in their right mind.
But leave it to PETA to stick their nose in this and thus forcing me to say something.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has asked that a man waiting for trial for cannibalism be forced to become a vegetarian, Christopher McCuin, 25, was arrested and charged earlier this month with killing, cooking, and partially eating his girlfriend.
Now a letter from PETA Vice President Bruce Friedrich to prison officials asks that he be prevented from "contributing to any more suffering and death by placing him on a healthy, humane vegetarian diet". The request will not be honored, prison officials say, and McCuin will "be fed like everyone else".
I can't make this stuff up.
Now I do not know whats up with this dude chowing down on his girlfriend but I am willing to wait and see but what I do know is game when I see it.
PETA gives a rat's ass about this young lady, (correct that a rat is an animal, a human ass is more like it), they want to push their agenda and use this poor girl's life as a soap box the way they used Vick's.
It cheapened the serious nature of the crime from both a victim and the criminal stand point.
This is not the first or the last time these yahoos have done something like this and it will not be their last, which is why they are on my terrorist watch list.

Quip Quip: Feb 4
It’s hard to understand how a cemetery raises it’s burial rates and blames the cost of living.
True Story 3:What I learned this weekend: Women are lousy tippers.
I went to dinner at one of my favorite spots the Vortex in in Little Five, (think the New York Village pre 2000 and a lot more toned down), with a lady friend of mine who usd to be a waitress.
After the dinner I noticed she was paying attention to what I was leaving for a tip.
Now I always tip when I got out if I cant leave a tip I will not go thats just me.
I think it's the right thing to do for some one serving you.
So I am thinking I might of made a mistake on the amout which is unusual because I always leave more than 15% the bill was 42 and I left a 10 spot.
So I asked her whats up and thats when she told me when she was working as an waitress she always worked the tables with men because women in particular black women were bad tippers if they tipped at all.
Now I love to argue a point but I had nothing to stand on because every time I go out with a woman regardless of the relationship romantic or platonic I always pay, none of that dutch mess.
So I had no proof to counter that and I remember other friends in the service industry telling me the same thing.
We got into why and she believed it was a jealousy thing women being catty.
I thought it had to do with women just not used to doing it, if men are paying all the time than how would you know what to leave behind?
Thats all.

Stunna of the Week 13: Mary J. Blige
I always thought Mary was cute but all that drama as a young lady was a turn off so I never really paid much attention to her or her music which I considered a woman thing not for me at all.
But unlike a lot of young artist turned old, Mary, music wise, physically wise and attitude wise has aged like fine wine.
No longer the poster child for B.B.W. she has moved on with her life and music and those who are her true fans have moved on with her or found other drama filled artist to champion their broken hearts, (See every single damn woman in R&B who can screech out a note).
So it is with great pleasure that I put her on my Stunna list.
