*****Warning: The Ability For Critical Thinking Required Before Reading This Post. High Levels Of Sarcasm And Bloody Humor Present. May Hurt The Feelings Of The Thin Skinned And The Weak Minded, The Slow Witted Need Not Continue.*****

****You know your blogging too much when you hand in an essay but refer to it as your "post".

Way too much.

****Somebody needs to lose their job for real.

What the hell was the Secret Service doing?

You let two professional nut jobs just walk into the White House state dinner party and shake the President's hand?

Touch the President?

I can think of ten different ways to do harm to him off the top of my head.

This is not acceptable.

Not this President, and not in these times do you let that go on.

You might not get another chance to mess up and get away with it.

And I am about tired of these reality TV star wannabes disrupting the public consciousness with their antics, some one is going to have to be made a serious example of why you need to sit your ass down and get a regular job.

****
Police Department stats city of New York:

In 2008 there were 461 murders in New York City, as of 11/15/09 there are 403 murders.

In 2008 there were 1170 reported rapes, as of 11/15/09 there are 1049.

Hhhhhmmmmmmm.....yes......yes I can see how New York city is so much safer now that this man,.........

.....Plaxico Burress is in jail after shooting himself with his own gun in November of 2008.

Thus violating New York's hand gun laws and prompting the mayor Michael "Three-peat" Bloomberg.......

......to get on a soap box and demand that he be made an example of.

Yes lord knows that the city is soooooo much safer now that this villainous threat is locked away safely behind bars.

Thus allowing New York to show the world their high value for the rule of law.........unless of course you count Mayor Bloomberg's manipulation of the law to allow him to run for another term as new York city mayor.

But hey!!!!

That's OK, cause like him riding to the rescue of the city in the case of Burress the mayor is just doing his part to save the city from it's self.

****In Related News..........

The Giants are pissing me the hell off, we should be owning the NFC East.

I really, really need the giants to put their foot down next week, all over that Star.

Because when the season is over I am going to be stuck following the Knicks and I swear to God they are doing everything possible to put me in the grave.

****Heard the buzz over Adam Lambert's AMA performance......

Now I don't watch to many music award shows since no who deserves the awards gets it and everything is just rehashing whats on the radio.

It's like showing the punt return highlight in football, you only see it for two reasons some one scored big or someone screwed up big.

Watch adam lambert kissing a guy live at AMA 2009 in Music  |  View More Free Videos Online at Veoh.com

After watching this to be honest I couldn't tell you if this is "extra" or not.

I would have to see if the AMA and other award shows had anything this risky on before.

If so then this is much ado about nothing and people are pretty much offended because dude is sweeter then a bag of candy on Halloween.

People need to chill.

If not then yeah old boy here went over the top with it and should have saved this.

But I will point out that at these shows you have a whose who of dysfunctional knuckleheads guilty of REAL crimes and no one tells them to get to stepping.

I'm just saying.......

**** And Finally....

Now the rumor is that Tiger Woods got tuned up by his wife for supposedly cheating on her.

Now no one knows for sure yet what went on besides those two but lets say it happened to address a point.

Two things, one there was some good golf related jokes on this and that's fair game to me.

But the second thing is not fair game, if your thinking that it's OK for her to act a fool cause he supposedly cheated than you a FOOL.

That is a two way street your going down and what is good for the goose is good for the gander, you let this slide you let men who beat on women for the same offense slide, it's only logical.

Besides that lets say he decided to turn around and rearrange that oh so pretty face of hers performing amateur plastic surgery on her bad ass for putting hands on him, what the hell y'all going to say?

Cry foul?

Keep your hands to your selves people.

Good News Tuesday:CEO of Dodge Car Brand, Chrysler Group LLC Ralph Gilles

First let me say that there certain brands I just wont support.

I do not do Nike despite how good their product is cause I don't like their business practice.

I don't do Starbucks cause they are HIGHLY overrated with their coffee.

And with the exception of Chevy trucks I do not do American cars, just not reliable, I do not care how cheap the parts are I should not have to be seeing a mechanic in less than a year for major work and I damn sure shouldn't have to buy special equipment to work on it my self.

Why the hell should I have to flip the engine to change spark plugs?

And the bottom of the barrel of American brands are Chrysler, Dodge and that despicable Pontiac.

In case of the first two, I don't know how those brands are still in business, after earlier this year, I thought they were done for.

But in a move that might just save their butts the company put in place some one who actually knows how to design cars, Ralph Gilles.

From Black Entreprenuers:

Ralph V. Gilles was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, Dodge Car Brand, Chrysler Group LLC, October 2009, with full profit and loss responsibility for the Dodge car product portfolio. He continues to lead Product Design as Senior Vice President, a position he was named to in June 2009.

Previously, he was named Vice President – Design on Sept. 1, 2008.

Since first joining the former Chrysler Corporation in 1992 as a designer, Gilles has put his extensive academic background in industrial design and business administration to use, holding various positions within the company, including:

2009, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dodge Car Brand, and Senior Vice President – Product Design, Chrysler Group LLC
2009, Senior Vice President – Product Design
2008, Vice President – Design, Chrysler LLC
2006, Vice President – Jeep®/Truck, Color and Trim Studios, and Specialty Vehicles, Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler
2005, Director – Truck Exterior/Interior Design Studio
2001, Director – Design Office, Large Car Studio, Family Vehicles
1999, Senior Manager – Design Office, Studio 3
1998, Manager – Design Office, Jeep Interiors, Chrysler Corporation
1992, Designer – Design Office
Gilles is extremely active inside and outside the company. He serves as the Executive Sponsor of the Chrysler African American Network (CAAN) in addition to playing a leading role with The Chrysler Global Diversity Council. He also serves on the Boards of The Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Mich. and The Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital Regional Medical Center in Pontiac, Mich. At his alma mater, The College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Gilles serves on The Advisory Board of The School of Industrial Design and on The CCS Capital Committee.

The man has a long hard road ahead of him trying to make cars that appeal to the public as well as break the perception of American automotive incompetence.

But you got to start some where.

I don't know how much pull he really has but besides making a good car he should look into going electric.

Patience

The professor in class asked a question about the patience displayed by the main character of the Shawshank Redemption movie Andrew "Andy" Dufresne who is sentenced to two consecutive life sentences at Shawshank State Penitentiary in Maine for murdering his wife and her lover.

The question being to put ourselves in his place and describe the Patience needed to make it.

Now I would like to point out that for one, Andy’s patience ran out as he eventually escaped after realizing the limits and futility of his own patience, second you do not have to imagine what it would be like to live through this since in real life there are hundreds of former prisoners who have been wrongly convicted only to be released later after the truth inevitably emerges from the darkness.

They are experts in the matter and could give most Buddhist Monks a run for their money on what it means to be patient.

I have watched these men, through the media, as they embrace their freedom with a calm that to me is so shocking that it borders on terrifying.

How does someone maintain their sanity after pleading, screaming, bargaining for anyone to listen that they are innocent?

How do you control of your emotions, and achieve a level of peace KNOWING that you are paying for a crime you did not commit?

All the while caged like an animal surrounded by men who have committed REAL crimes against their fellow man and who have built a culture in those prisons were the weak are preyed upon and the solution seems to be to become a predator.

How do you not let hate eat away at your soul and lash violently out at the world trying to make it feel the pain you suffered with all those years stuck in time as the rest of the world kept turning, not just leaving you behind but forgetting about your existence all together?

How do you not let the stress kill you, or for that matter how do you not kill yourself?

I can only speculate on what it takes, because I have never walked in those shoes and I pray that I never do.

Hate would be my close friend in there, my confidant, and my support.

The only thing I can think of is that these men have consciously or sub-consciously practiced a combination of mediation, denial, hope and faith.

Meditation to clear the mind of all distractions and allowing for focus.

The denial of the despair that creeps into you and allows you to accept your fate, abandoning the future.

Hope that your freedom will be given back to you.

And finally, faith, faith in the world that it will open its eyes and see your innocence.

This is what I believe will allow them to ease the stress of their minds and hold on to their sanity and eventually leave prison still human and maybe better off than what they were before.

That is what I think it would take to come out of their alive. Alive and at peace with not only yourself but those around you and more importantly those who are responsible for your incarceration.

I cannot say that I am that type of person who would have the types of tools to make it out. But seeing men like the ones who did make it out gives me hope at the very least.

The Gift That Keeps On Giving........

I like to think that there is a reasonable explanation for everything.

There are two sides to every story.

Break down complex problems into small pieces and start with the simplest one first and life gets much clearer I think.

There are no mysteries just problems waiting to be solved.

But every now and than you come across some nasty looking piece of logic left in the middle of the road by some fucked up nut that makes you stop and say what the hell is this?

Case in point I was outside over at a friend's place talking when one of her neighbors drove up got out of her car with her boyfriend and kid and went to her apartment.

My friend remarked how she couldn't stand the woman, now before I could stop my self I asked why, seeing how the last time I was around they were very friendly with each other.

Apparently they had a falling out.

Observation: What I have noticed, and some of you might want to take this as a warning, is that when women fall out with each other, or with men for that matter, every little dirty secret that they shared with each other gets thrown out in the street.

She than tells me that this woman is,

1- divorced,

2- former stripper,

3- bisexual but is currently dating this one dude.

4- she is 37 he is 25,

5- he despite being younger is controlling in the relationship and demands that she be around at all times when he is not out doing something.

6- she has herpes which she contracted from her ex husband.

I stopped her on the last part, she had me hooked so I asked the obvious questions, like does the current boyfriend know?

Yes he knows or rather he was informed by her after they slept together a few times.

Her rational for this is that she was not having an out break, they only had sex with out a condom twice and she regularly takes her medication for it.

Here is a little bit of info for you, some one who has herpes simplex viruses type 1 or 2 can transmit the virus to another person with out having out break.

A condom will not save you and the medication does not cure you.

So dude gets tested and comes out negative, but get this......he comes back to her.

I thought I was hearing things but hell I just saw him get out the car with her so I guess so.

I don't know maybe it's just me......

I could be overly sensitive.......

Maybe I am just not that opened minded.......

I just cant see my self running back into the arms of a woman who gave me an STI......

No, hell no, especially after I lucked out and tested negative.

When I worked in a clinic I came across all sorts of diseases that would make the CDC blow up, and I never blinked an eye.

But herpes was the one thing I just couldn't be around, it shook the hell out of me, made my skin crawl.

I can deal with HIV, full blown AIDS, Swine Flu, walking pneumonia, bacterial meningitis you name it.

Not herpes.

So at this point I am not even thinking of her trifling ass I'm think about his trifling ass and what the hell is running through his head.

And I don't want to hear that love mess either.

Sharing a disease might be the ultimate expression of love from what ever planet these two are from but I would rather take a bullet for you instead.

That is just twisted.

Now I know there are people who are desperate for companionship, they need a person, any type of person, to make them feel whole.

But come the hell on man, herpes?

Y'all nasty as hell out here man.

Good News Tuesday: Wyclef Jean & Timberland Haiti Reforestation

Growing up in New York there was some these that was just mandatory if you were a true black man.

You had to know how to play ball.

You had to have a ball cap.

You had to be arrogant as hell.

You have to have a PhD in smack talking.

But most of all you had to have at least one pair of Timbs.

And if it was just one pair it had to be the standard honey wheat.

It was part of the New York uniform, anything else was looked down upon, that included those high end brands like the Polo boots.

Or the ones that targeted the urban market like Lugz.

They had to be Timbs, didn't matter that the company didn't want black men wearing their boots for what ever reason.

That just gave us the green light to steal their shit, but get it we would.

But that was back in the day, today it is rare to see Timbs on the streets, I have no idea why, I stopped buying them awhile ago for no specific reason so I am just now hearing about the decline in quality and it not being stylish any more.

But after reading this I am hoping for a come back.

From Haitian Internet:

The Timberland company and Haitian Hip Hop Singer Wyclef Jean are teaming up for a new collection of Timberland boots called "Timberland Earthkeepers Yele Haiti boots."

That's not all, The Timberland Earthkeeper line of will also include closing designed by children in Haiti. I watch a video of wake of himself promoting the new timberland yearly Haiti earth keeper line

Timberland Earthkeepers Yele Haiti boots We'll be available for men and women and kids.

For every pair of these boots sold, Timberland will donate $2 to the Yele Haiti foundation to support reforestation in Haiti.

The Timberland Earthkeepers Yele Haiti boots will be Available in the United States in November 2010 and globally by February 2010.

Now the cynic in me is saying this is the move of a company trying to slide it's way back into a market they took for granted a long time ago.

But this is a case were ends do justify the means, Haiti has a serious deforestaion problem that has contributed to flooding during hurricane season.

So this time I put away my side eye and give props to the Timberland and wyclef for giving a fuck.
