Cops are hunting for Naomi Campbell after she assaulted her limo driver in Midtown on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.
Campbell slapped and slugged the 27-year-old driver, then bolted from the black Cadillac Escalade at E. 58th St. and Second Ave. just after 3 p.m.
She was last seen running away from the scene.
"There has been a criminal complaint made out against her. She's obviously aware of it," a police source said. "She will either turn herself in or we'll go out and get her like anybody else."
The driver reported the incident to police, who were canvassing the area.

**** We all know about the tragedy of Haiti and while I was donating money and trying to hunt down relatives I absorbed what ever news came out of there.
One of the stories that came out though gave me reason for pause.
There seemed to be this rush in taking children out of Haiti who were orphans or newly turned orphans.
Now this was going on within a week of the earthquake, and I remember thinking that they were moving faster then needed with that.
I can understand the need to help but this type of rush with out fact checking can do more damage then good.
Haiti to my knowledge does not have a welfare system, no Section 8 for housing, no Food Stamps/EBT for food.
This safety net that is here in this country that allows a mother to keep and care for her children is not present in Haiti.
So a family in Haiti who can not take care of her child has one of two options either give their child to a family who can afford to take care of the child and in return the child becomes a house hold servant, (I remember having a very young "nanny" as a child that was a result of this method) or give the child to an orphanage.
In either case the mother and father are NOT putting up her child for adoption or even giving up rights to the child.
They are just placing them in a place that will give their child the best chance to survive.
So when I hear things like adoption groups and well meaning organizations all of a sudden make a move to make off with a army of Haitian children and use the many having the idea of giving the kids out to adoption alarms flash through my head.
Now I don't think anything that sinister is meant by these groups to put them in the category of what happened in Australia.
But when your rushing to take kids away from their native land and shipping them them to another country with no ties to their culture, race and roots thus damning them with a life time inferiority complex...........
When you don't even check to see if the child's relatives are alive and can provide care...........
When you make off with kids who make up a large part of the population there by threaten the future existence of the country......
And when you do mess like this........
......taking kids to the Dominican Republic?
Didn't bother to do any research on the historical racial tension between the two nations did you.
When you do thing like this you need to slow the hell down and ask some questions first.
And preferably you ask the people your trying to help.

That is the other side of unconditional love they don't talk about.
But with that pain boys and girls comes a clarity of the mind, a moment of sobriety in a drunken sea of misery.

I initially thought about excluding single mothers period, I have dated enough to know that all single mothers have baggage, PERIOD.
How big the baggage is depends on the woman's life circumstance, but regardless it's there.
It could be the absentee father or that the father is too present in her life, the age of the kids that require different levels of attention, time away from the kid, stress from being with the kids.
Than factor in that I like kids which means getting to know the kid but if the relationship fails than the kids are gone.
But than I had to think about it, it's rare to find a woman my age with out kids and the ones my age that don't have kids have some BS going on anyway.
Besides, because I have dated baby mommas there is nothing I haven't seen, I am a veteran.
But there is a segment of this group I will eliminate and that's the multi baby daddy baby momma.
I am not talking about multiple kids, multiple daddies.
Now don't get me wrong I understand the complexities that life throws are way, one baby daddy I can understand people make mistakes, fall in and out of love.
Two is reasonable some times your slow with it, and women when it comes to love to try, try and try again.
But three and above?
Three and above and the kids are like back to back?
Like if they fought each other the littlest one can hold his or her own?
Like if you took a family portrait it would look like a United Colors of Benetton ad?
That is a bit much, to me that is a sign of very poor judgement, and absolutely no thoughts about the future, this woman is living in the now so tomorrow never comes.

Actually I cant stand sweets, hate it, but you know where i am going with this.
Before I get to the purpose of this post I have some things I want to say.
While making the rounds I noticed that two of my favorite bloggers Symphony and Ms. Marvalus, being the intelligent women that they are, (I know this because I am forced to read their posts as opposed to staring at their body parts), have decided to light candles instead of casting shadows in these uncertain times of the world and out right dark times predicted by doomsayers in the blogosphere.
They are doing this with their Good News Tuesday posts, some health food for the mind instead of the steady diet of junk food posts we feed ourselves on the net.
See one of the things I am sure we all noticed in the blogosphere is how easily we are attracted to gloom and doom, and sensationalist type posts.
We can sit and debate on the comment sections if Beyonce is a swagger jacker, or if Rhianna and Chris brown's relationship is real.
We can talk all day about how some super jock did something super stupid, but never a word is said about the one who gives time an effort as well as money to those who need it.
We can do the battles of the sexes all day, pointing the finger at one another and screaming.
We can talk smack about other people's lives and pass judgment with out ever looking them in the eye.
Hell their are bloggers whose only purpose is to stir the pot of miscommunication and ignorance, like some twisted side walk preacher clutching the Bible in one hand while the other points to you and swears your soul is destined to burn in the fiery pit if you don't follow them to salvation.
You can tell who they are, long on misery, short on solution, big on debate.
It's easy to do that when your behind the safety of an Internet and you don't have to look your opponent in the eye like a real warrior.
I am guilty of this as well, I get my kicks off the absurd and foolish yet little positive in return other than some snide remarks.
Not that these thing should be ignored or taken lightly, it's serious business the matters of race, sex, politics, religion and the heart.
But too much of anything will poison you slowly and painfully.
So I am not going to wait till the New Year to make some slight changes, in how I want to approach the world, on a Tuesday at least.
It is strictly health food type posts or nothing at all, something that shows that the world and more importantly to me black people are not going to hell on the devil dog express.
Now I am sure it wont be easy, finding good news on the net compared to bad news is like trying to find a Bible in a porn shop.
But it can be done and more importantly the feeling of reading and finding something positive about your people is like getting a sweet kiss from the one you love when you need it the most.
THE LINE snaked around the block, 75 families, many with kids in tow, waiting for the doors to open. On a chilly Sunday afternoon in South Central Los Angeles, they had massed in front of Urban Legends Stadium, a shoe store that sells Nikes and hoodies but also Booker T. Washington biographies and a full complement of Barack Obama T-shirts. The folks in line talked about church and sports and movies and tried like hell to avoid the topic of the economy. ¶ Sirens wailed in the background, and police kept a wary eye on the crowd, but the people were there only for a giveaway of holiday food—turkeys, cans of vegetables, biscuits, pies, crates of bottled water—paid for and distributed by Baron Davis, the Los Angeles Clippers point guard. Davis had returned from an East Coast road trip earlier that morning yet arrived at Urban Legends in high spirits, flashing a smile, framed by a thick beard, that puffed out his cheeks. This was no pro form a goodwill appearance by an athlete; Davis was greeted not as a celebrity but as a familiar figure in the community. No one wanted his autograph or photo. They just wanted to catch up. The crowd of onlookers included his sisters, aunts, nephews and grandmother. They chided him for everything from his tardiness to his attire. (At an aunt's behest, Davis quickly removed a sweatshirt emblazoned with the words TYSON VS. GIVENS.)
The 6'3" Davis has put a twist on the familiar deliverance-through-hoops narrative. Basketball is a means to an end, not an end in itself. The sport is less who he is than what he does. But is that a good thing?
Davis's interest in activism was piqued during his two years at UCLA, where he met Jim Brown and took a class on actor and civil rights activist Paul Robeson. As a rookie with the Hornets, then based in Charlotte, Davis befriended Marshall Rauch, an entrepreneur and longtime North Carolina state senator. "On a lot of Sundays he'd come over and bombard me with questions about politics and economics," recalls Rauch, now in his mid-80s. "He absorbed everything, and you knew he was going to use it someday."
In the summer of 2006 Davis, who was then with the Golden State Warriors, addressed the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, D.C., about health issues and the obesity crisis affecting minorities. He also attended the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City that September. During the trip he met with the junior senator from Illinois, Barack Obama. Davis spoke with him about life in the inner city. "There's just this lack—lack of education, lack of safety, lack of opportunity, lack of health care," he says. "Barack really listened and engaged. He told me, 'If you're serious about restructuring the inner city, use your platform.'?"
When Obama announced his candidacy for president, Davis was quick to volunteer, hosting fund-raisers and cutting checks. (He and Obama aide Reggie Love texted each other congratulations on election night.) "Our country is at a tipping point, as Malcolm Gladwell would put it," says Davis. "I feel like this [election result] is a new beginning, for the U.S. and even for the world. It feels good to say you were part of something bigger than yourself."
Davis's other significant nonbasketball pursuit is his production company, Verso Entertainment, which he founded with Cash Warren, his friend and Crossroads classmate (who is perhaps best known as Jessica Alba's husband). The company's maiden project, Crips and Bloods: Made in America, is a full-length documentary directed by acclaimed filmmaker Stacy Peralta (Dogtown and Z-Boys), tracing the history of the gang culture in South Central. "I think Baron was particularly taken with it because this was his community," says Peralta. "He was like, 'If I had made a few different choices, that could have been me.'"

Have you noticed that since Obama has been elected President all of a sudden that one drop rule, were if you have any black blood in you, your considered black, no longer applies?
Or rather it replies in reverse now, as in your not black.
It started quietly enough when it first became apparent Obama was going to win.
A group of mixed people and groups like Swirl, (thought I was making that up huh?), got vocal and pointed out that they would prefer that he be acknowledge as one of them.
Than the media slowly but surely started talking out the side of their necks about how he was not really black.
Hell the KKK has called him mixed and refuse to say he is black, now YOU KNOW when the KKK refuses to call you a n#%& the world is turned upside down.
Never mind that the man himself said "I am a black man".
Now I try not to get into that here, because I really don't give it much thought, unless some one brings it up.
Ironic since my youngest brother's father is white, (a Brit at that), and I was out the house when he was still young so the topic never came up.
There are different ways you can look at it;
1- You can be a cynic and say well they don't want a black man in office that bad, that they are willing to turn a blind eye to the rule.
Ehh.....partly true, there are those who believe just that, hell there are black people who feel that way about him for one reason or another.
2- You can be positive and say well it is an acknowledgement of the union that brought him here and a sign that this country has turned a corner.
?.....yeah you believe that than I got an oil field in Iraq to sell you.
3- You can say it's both.
Could be.
4- Or you can say every one wants a piece of the action so there running to plant a flag in his butt.
I know I did the moment he said he was a black man, and if you want me to be honest I would have voted for Clinton if he refereed to himself as mixed, for no other reason than thinking he was trying to be slick and play both sides of the fence.
That's just me and my distrust of politicians.
What I will point out is that most African Americans are mixed to a certain degree or another and it has been proven through genetics that some AA who are dark skinned or darker than Obama have a higher percentage of white in them and some lighter skinned black have a higher percentage of black in them.
And given that Obama comes from an African father and what appears to be a very white mother that makes him a solid 50/50.
That would be more black than some of the most militant blacks and more white than some whites (who are mixed to, they pretend they don't know).
Yeah this country is a regular 31 flavors of people, a big old swirl.
How you take it is on you, all I know is I like chocolate and anything it's mixed with.
This series will be high lighting my new standards for women in hopes of removing the headaches that keep on popping up in my life.
Here we go.
1- Women who do not graduate high school.
I have nothing against a high school diploma or a GED, college is not for every one and I have dated my share of "educated women" who were......lets face some really stupid ass broads that have no business breeding.
Intelligence and education are two different things, that do not come hand in hand.
How ever a woman with out a high school diploma or GED strike me as a woman who has either given up on life or is lazy.
Never mind slow.
Either way you can not ignore the facts that the lack of a middle education can be the catalyst to a substandard way of life, poor options and choices made.
As well as having too much time on your hand thus worrying about what the hell I am doing all the time.
