The Dangers Of Democracy.

"Democracy... is a charming form of government, full of variety and disorder; and dispensing a sort of equality to equals and unequals alike."

-Plato-

Plato was a classical philosopher from Greece who is credited for being the first to write down western philosophy down, something that wasn't practiced but instead was passed down orally.

Plato's first writings were the dialogs of his teacher and mentor Socrates, before writing his own.

Socrates last lesson to Plato was not something he said but something that he did, he died, to be specific he was executed by the influential group of citizens of Athens who did not appreciate his social and moral standards and what they viewed as the corruption of the minds of the youth.

Plato was very bitter about this and he blamed the city state of Athens for Socrates death, by allowing ignorant people to take the life of one of the greatest minds of that time.

Now here is were it all comes together, Athens was a Democracy, this was not lost on Plato who later described Democracy as one of the lesser forms of government beneath Aristocracy, Timocracy, Plutocracy and just above Despotism, because it made equals of the educated and the uneducated.

He saw this as an danger as the state and the elite of society would be subject to the emotional and ignorant whims of the masses whose concerns were always short sighted an unenlightened.

When I watched this video I know exactly what Plato was talking about.

Meet The Anti-Obama Group!

You see when you look at that you cant help but shake your head and chuckle.

Look at them, they don't know what there talking about, there mad and they have no idea what there mad about.

Like a chimpanzee in the zoo who flies into a rage for no apparent reason, uprooting everything around him.

It's a sight to see.......that is unless your in that cage with the pissed off ape, but more likely than not we are kept safe from the beast by the bars and zoo keepers allowing us to curiously observe the animal and move on to the next show.

And that's the problem right there, are willingness to just move on.

You see the smart man, when he sees that he is dealing with ignorance and stupidity that refuses to drag it's self out of the cave of darkness into light, will simply dismiss the individuals and go about his business.

If they want to wallow in their own muck let them, is the thought, but that is the last thing.....the worst thing, you can do with these people.

People like these, like the chimps in the zoo if you have the misfortune to be around when the cages are opened, can rip you apart and screw up your life.

"Democracy passes into despotism."

-Plato-

And they start by taking small steps, testing the water, testing you and your commitment, your resolve, your willingness to fight.

First it's some one whispering in the ear telling them they should be mad, than the whisper turns into a shout, a rally starts, a protest begins, next time a threatening sign appears, a fight breaks out, next time some one brings a gun, a gun is drawn out, and than some one pulls a trigger, and than some one dies.

Check your history, it's happened before.

Abortion doctor murdered here, a Federal building bombed over there, and who knows whats around the corner.

This is the type of mentality that is trying to tell the rest of the country what to think and what to do.

Hell there trying to tell world what to do.

And were all sitting back watching them do it, not saying a word just shaking our heads.

Mean while they intimidate OUR elected officials, they disrupt our lives and our future so they can stay in their caves on the advisement of some Plutocratic shepherd.

That shepherd who herds them in the direction of their enemy, working them into a frenzy and pushing them into a stampede towards anything that remotely looks like change, regardless if it's for their own good or not.

Not understanding that it's those leaders of theirs who are the ones who are most threatened by change, and those leaders are willing to do ANYTHING to keep things the same.

That's why this vid is not funny, that's why these people should not be dismissed and ignored but instead force fed the truth, informed of whats going on and to hold those twisted leaders accountable for the poisonous lies mix into the Kool Aid and pass out to everyone.

Because just because people are ignorant does not mean they are not dangerous, does not mean they can not when motivated, when inspired, bring your world crashing around you.

You already know it's true, you have seem them in action just didn't see it for what it was.

A bunch of men were told by their Shepherd that to die for a God they have never seen was a glorious thing.

They were told that if they did so that God would reward them in heaven with things like 70 virgins.

These ignorant men then went and changed the world around us, the WORLD.

With nothing more than this.

A box cutter.

I don't know about you, but I am no longer amused with the Tea Baggers, Birthers, Screamers, Whiners, and their benefactors.

Quote of the Day

If you set goals and go after them with all the determination you can muster, your gifts will take you places that will amaze you.

-Les Brown

That's right boys and girls don't be daunted by the size and scope of the task ahead of you, if that's what you want go get it, and shed everything that's holding you back.

And make sure you take the time to enjoy it when you get it.

Quote for the Day

My mind wont allow me to not be curious,

My folk dont understand so they dont take it serious,

But every now and then I wonder,

If the gate was put up to keep crime out or to keep our ass in

Quote for the day.

I don't get high, but sometimes I wish I did. That way, when I messed up in life I would have an excuse. But right now there's no rehab for stupidity.

Chris Rock

Aint that the truth.

Quote for the day.

Anything that is too stupid to be spoken is sung.

Voltaire

Well that would explain a lot of the music I am hearing now a days.

Quote for the day

"I support non-discrimination for homosexuals, but I think, or at least I have the right to think - without saying whether I think it or not - I have the right to think, along with the catechism of the Catholic Church, that homosexuality is morally wrong."

Rocco Buttiglione

The moment you allow religion to creep into the debate you lose focus and change minds.

So as long as the union between individuals are linked with the term marriage you got God and those that think they speak for him/her all up in you business.

I have been showing out all week since Nov 5th, walking around like my ish don't stink.

It's amazing I haven't found my way into a jail cell.

I have nothing else to give, I can now try to figure out the focus of this blog, I am thinking of just splitting it up, I got caught up in politics, law, health, and women.

Time to dumb it down I think.

Quote for the day

"I believe that sex is one of the most beautiful, natural, wholesome things that money can buy. "

Steve Martin

In one way or another men are paying for it, the cost and form of currency are determined by women.

I am John McCain and I approve this message.

Quote for the day

"A man is only as faithful as his options."

Chris Rock
Hhmmm.....I think that this is true in the idea that the options given come from the woman he is with.
As in can you be forced to cheat on the one your with?
In a marriage I say yes only because in a dating relationship you can always say to hell with it and walk away with out ever betraying the one your with.
How ever in a marriage you don't to get to walk away from something that you have so much invested in without a divorce.
The reasons for cheating are old and numerous but I always think that your going down that path when the lines of communication start to break down.
Problems don't get discussed or solved resentment, builds up, distance between couples grows
and bad choices are made because it seems that's all the choices that are left.

Quote for the day.

"Woman is the dominant sex. Men have to do all sorts of stuff to prove that they are worthy of woman's attention. "
Camille Paglia

Well who can deny that?

Every thing that is the world today had it's roots come from men trying to get, protect, and hoard women.

Imagine if there were no women?

We would still be in the stone ages.

Hell man might never have learned to walk on two feet or left the garden of Eden for the religious.

We would be killer apes for real.

If women ever thought like men and were able to shed off the cattyness and jealousy and really group together this planet would be turned upside down.

Now if the world would be better off for it is a matter of debate.

Quote of the Day

"Stress is basically a disconnection from the earth, a forgetting of the breath. Stress is an ignorant state. It believes that everything is an emergency. Nothing is that important. Just lie down. "

Natalie Goldberg

Lol, I like the ones who just keep it simple.

But it's so true, some people cant function with out stress in their lives, not havng stress is stressful for them.

They will find a way to make stress to make themselves happy and you miserable.

When you get a hold of some one like that it's time to tell them to step.

Quote for the Day

On Sarah Palin "She's Just Like Kim Kardashian On Dancing With The Stars, All That Ass & Cant Shake It"

Chris Rock -On Larry King-

Now if that don't say it all I don't know what does.

Obama need to give this dude a post in his administration.

That's what Palin is summed up, she looks good, and I mean on paper, white woman, attractive, a Governor, loyal, believes the BS they tell her, manageable, loyal.

A puppet masters wet dream.

I cant wait till the VP debates, need to give Joe bidden a nickname like The Hatchet vs the Caribou Barbie or something.
