If you live in Georgia than your familiar with one of the favorite radio talk show hosts Neal Boortz, and if you have been paying attention to the net you also that Neal has put his foot in his mouth yet again.

“We got too damn many urban thugs, yo, ruining the quality of life for everybody. And I’ll tell you what it’s going to take. You people, you are – you need to have a gun. You need to have training. You need to know how to use that gun… We need to see some dead thugs littering the landscape in Atlanta. We need more dead thugs in this city.”

Truth be told if you heard Neal before there is nothing here really to shock you, in fact the uproar about what he said is more interesting than his comments.

I've listen to his show before, he is a professional provocateur but I wouldnt call him a racist as of yet off this which is the popular charge leveled at him based off his comments. This is right up his alley, to get under people's skin and get them to start talking. Unfortunately he has a point, Atlanta has a visible crime, ( although I do not know if it is because crime is growing in Atlanta or because of Gentrification more whites are moving in and being exposed to it), the Five Point area, the intersection of the public transit system of Atlanta, Mogadishu on a good day. The mass of lower wealth income city dwellers alone is good enough to scare the hell out of people not used to "urban" cities. Hell it will make the hair on the back of the neck of the most street savvy kid stand up. For a city like Atalanta to have a major intersection in it's city were tourist, students, (GSU and GT is a few blocks away), residents and visitors come through being loitered to death by criminals, (yeah a lot of them are thugs), is inexcusable.

But so is what Niel Boortz is advocating, it is not hard to get a gun legal or otherwise in Atlanta and Niel knows it. Giving advice to listeners to Cowboy up and "protect" your self from those who look different from you is begging for trouble. And lets be honest the only people his listeners are going to be shooting at are those who look different from them, insert the face of every young black male that you know here.........regardless if sagging pants are worn or not.

What is annoying here is that a guy Neal's age should have accumulated the wisdom by now to know that this is NOT how you solve crime, if that is truly his intent. Jobs, education, breaking the cultural cycle of poverty that instills a fear of success in the minds of kids, thats how you fight it.

But than again that is a tall order for people to accomplish in this country, just easier to shoot em up.

Oh well time to break out the kevlar.

I got no words, if you loved Hip-Hop like I did growing up then you already know.

According to Yo! Raps, Guru penned this letter to fans, explaining his illness while in the hospital with terminal cancer. Read it below in its entirety: - Ballerstatus
I, Guru, am writing this letter to my fans, friends and loved ones around the world. I have had a long battle with cancer and have succumbed to the disease. I have suffered with this illness for over a year. I have exhausted all medical options. I have a non-profit organization called Each One Counts dedicated to carrying on my charitable work on behalf of abused and disadvantaged children from around the world and also to educate and research a cure for this terrible disease that took my life. I write this with tears in my eyes, not of sorrow but of joy for what a wonderful life I have enjoyed and how many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Cops are hunting for Naomi Campbell after she assaulted her limo driver in Midtown on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.

Campbell slapped and slugged the 27-year-old driver, then bolted from the black Cadillac Escalade at E. 58th St. and Second Ave. just after 3 p.m.

She was last seen running away from the scene.

"There has been a criminal complaint made out against her. She's obviously aware of it," a police source said. "She will either turn herself in or we'll go out and get her like anybody else."

The driver reported the incident to police, who were canvassing the area.

I give props to the New Orleans Saints for winning the Superbowl.

I wasn't in love with either of these teams so I had no stake in this but it was a good game to watch and if there was a city that needed this it was N.O.

I Wouldn't put this game in the top five of Superbowls or not even in the top ten, I got the sense that the Colts choked up in the end and let NO take it from him.

The interception by Manning being the clincher for me right there and also will be used by some as proof that Manning is a choker who got lucky one year.

Cant really argue with that.

Now on to the real stuff.......the commercials.......

I actually missed these on TV but they were my favorites.

This one had me dying!

I think a lot of dudes could relate to this on so both sides as the wolf coming to the door and as the kid of a single mother.

I know exactly how both of those feel.

For real this commercial actually made me want to buy some old spice.

Had me rolling and I have no idea why, it was just damn silly, good stuff.

**** We all know about the tragedy of Haiti and while I was donating money and trying to hunt down relatives I absorbed what ever news came out of there.

One of the stories that came out though gave me reason for pause.

There seemed to be this rush in taking children out of Haiti who were orphans or newly turned orphans.

Now this was going on within a week of the earthquake, and I remember thinking that they were moving faster then needed with that.

I can understand the need to help but this type of rush with out fact checking can do more damage then good.

Haiti to my knowledge does not have a welfare system, no Section 8 for housing, no Food Stamps/EBT for food.

This safety net that is here in this country that allows a mother to keep and care for her children is not present in Haiti.

So a family in Haiti who can not take care of her child has one of two options either give their child to a family who can afford to take care of the child and in return the child becomes a house hold servant, (I remember having a very young "nanny" as a child that was a result of this method) or give the child to an orphanage.

In either case the mother and father are NOT putting up her child for adoption or even giving up rights to the child.

They are just placing them in a place that will give their child the best chance to survive.

So when I hear things like adoption groups and well meaning organizations all of a sudden make a move to make off with a army of Haitian children and use the many having the idea of giving the kids out to adoption alarms flash through my head.

Words like kidnapping and abscond pop into my head and I am reminded of the Aboriginal "Lost Generation".

Now I don't think anything that sinister is meant by these groups to put them in the category of what happened in Australia.

But when your rushing to take kids away from their native land and shipping them them to another country with no ties to their culture, race and roots thus damning them with a life time inferiority complex...........

When you don't even check to see if the child's relatives are alive and can provide care...........

When you make off with kids who make up a large part of the population there by threaten the future existence of the country......

And when you do mess like this........

......taking kids to the Dominican Republic?

Didn't bother to do any research on the historical racial tension between the two nations did you.

When you do thing like this you need to slow the hell down and ask some questions first.

And preferably you ask the people your trying to help.

Now I admit I don't pay attention to this stuff but when i saw this pic pop up on the computer I couldn't help but wonder how similar the contestants look, even the ones of different races.

I don't want to be the cynic here but.............no....to hell with that that's exactly what I want to be here......exactly what part of America do these women really represent?

How about putting some bald headed chics up there, some fat ones, dreadlocs, pierced mouths, or have some rainbow dyed hair.

Let one of the ladies show how to diffuse a dirty bomb in some dude's under wear while budgeting her check book and slipping on a thong on the talent portion of the show.

The news out of Haiti has gotten worst as expected when there is so few resources and the people get more desperate.

But keeping with the Good News Tuesday theme I would like to point out the positives involving Haitians cause I already know the media is going to suspect when reporting the news from the island.

1- Senegal President offers Haitians a home.

PARIS — Senegal's president on Sunday called for Africa to make room for victims of Haiti's earthquake to restart their lives on the continent from where their ancestors were snatched as slaves.

"The repeated calamities that befall Haiti prompt me to propose a radical solution -- to take measures to create somewhere in Africa... the conditions for Haitians to return," President Abdoulaye Wade told France Info radio.

"They did not choose to go to that island," he added, referring to the mass deportation of African slaves to Haiti, then a French colony, from the 16th century.

"It is our duty to recognise their right to come back to the land of their ancestors."

His spokesman Mamadou Bamba Ndiaye gave further details of the proposals.

"If it is just a few people, we will offer them a roof and a patch of land," he told the radio station. "If they come in large numbers, we will give them a whole region."

This a very generous offer from the President of Senegal, I am curious to see how serious is about it and if anyone takes him up on the offer.

2- In the area of athletics...Dominican Miguel Tejada goes to Haiti to help quake victims By David Brown.....

A native of the Dominican Republic, Tejada arrived in Haiti on Sunday, intent on doing whatever possible to help people he calls "brothers."

Tejada told MSNBC he was bringing water, food and — most of all — himself in response to an earthquake that's killing an untold amount and has plunged an entire country into chaos.

"I was in the States when it happened," Tejada said. "They came to my heart and I'm really sorry for what has happened. That's why I came here, to bring some support for the people here."

3- Doctors Remove Concrete From Haitian Girl Brain

One of the first surgeries performed in the big US Navy hospital ship of the coast of Haiti involved the removal of concrete, yes, concrete, from a little Haitian girl's brain.
She is 12 years old and she will be OK

CNN's Sanjay Gupta was the one who performed the brain surgery.

What do you know... A neurosurgeon was needed to perform the operation, and thank God, CNN sent a neurosurgeon to Haiti to report on the earthquake.

"I am a doctor first," Sanjay said a few days ago, "and I am confortable with that."

I was at a lounge spot talking it up with this pretty lady over some drinks.

We were seated near the window so we could see passerby as we talked, the conversation was OK she mostly talked about her job as a corporate of some company I already forgot.

Actually I think she said she was a manager at a prominent hospital here in Atlanta.

Ask me, from what she described, the title "secretary" came to mind.......

.......but hey what do I know.

I kind of tune out when women start talking about their job or listing off their resume as a conversation piece anyway, I'm not hiring you for a job lady.

Actually I guess you could say I am hiring you for a job.....just not one that requires a Masters degree;)

Well.....actually if you have a Masters degree in the type of job I'm hiring for that would be a good thing;)

Wait a sec.......if your that good then I'm start questioning how the hell did you get your credentials:(

My bad........I digress......

Anyway were sitting there chatting when a young dark skinned women walks by the window from the outside, and the lady I'm with, in an attempt I guess to be witty comments on how "black" she is.

But she says it in a way that you get the impression that she is only half joking.

My mood changed with the quickness, there are certain things a women can say or do that just kills it right then and there for me, ain't no going back from that point on.

Noticing color in any negative way is one of them, to me that's the sign of a simple mind.

It tells me you got some self image issues going on with you so you take the opportunity to feel good about your self by stepping on what you perceive to be a flaw in someone else.

I cant say why it annoys me the way it does but it irks me to know end.

Maybe because I see the stupidity in it, for instance this woman was only a shade lighter then the one who walked by.

It's like, are you serious?

A couple minutes in the sun and your as dark as she is.

It's like those light skin women who talk about dark skin women but get all quiet when a white woman walks into the room.

All of a sudden they want to let out the inner Black Panther.

Or like a friend of mine who prefers redbone women, he marries one whose mother cant stand his ass.

Why?

You guessed it, he is as black as the ace of spades.

Funny, no?

Then there are those who like to point to the part of their skin that's usually cover up by clothing like the upper arm and say that is what your real color is not the part that has been exposed to the sun.

Word?

Is that right doctor?

Maybe if you lived in a cave all of your life like some animal wallowing in your own muck and suck on blood then yes...

........yes I can see how that is supposed to be your true skin color.

But for us HUMAN beings that prefer to walk up right in the sun the tan part is are true color.

It's all silly but it rubs me the wrong way.

So anyway I point out to her that she is not that light and she then tells me some what offended that she is not black like that and responds to my sun comment with I walk outside with an umbrella when it's hot.

Really now?

You walk outside with an umbrella during the summer so you wont get dark?

Yeah, that was pretty much it right there, I kept the convo light and made my exit after my last drink not bothering to exchange numbers.

Noramie Festa Jasmin, previously a trustee and deputy mayor of Spring Valley, was sworn in as mayor on Monday December 7, 2009, and she is the first woman to hold the title of "Mayor of Spring Valley NY" since the incorporation of the village in 1902.

I used to stay in Spring Valley as a kid, nothing much to it but I have memories of the place so I threw it up here.

There is no conspiracy here, someone screwed up and someone will be held responsible, yes the Secret Service should have been on their toes, but I don't know how well they can do their job if they are not informed who is supposed to be at the party, something that Desiree Rogers and her staff are supposed to be responsible for, she dropped the ball.

But still it looks like that the whole hate for this woman seems to be about her "shinning" too much at what they believe is at the expense of her job.

MARTA is short for Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, the bus and train service.

Now before I go off I will admit that my standards for public transportation is high.

I grew up in New York city, I'm not some suburbanite walking around in awe and scared of his own shadow when surrounded by "strange" looking people.

To be honest I like the adventure that you may be subject to when riding the public system.

I don't mind the old Asian lady who hops on the train and passes out her Jesus Saves pamphlets to every one.

The old black man who when not talking and laughing to himself calls everyone "dad" and bums everything from money to cigarettes at damn near every station, he is cool with me.

I don't mind the unruly alternative school kids that cause havoc when class is out, talking loud cursing and fighting.

The random burst of craziness that you get from the people with mental health issues with no where to go so they ride up and down the train routes, even when they break out into a Soulja Gurl like incident.

The DL homosexuals who ride late night trying to pick up other DL men and thus inevitably hit on straight men.

Side Note: One night after leaving work, I was on the train being watched by this dude who was built like and offensive linemen. I thought it's about to go down, this asshole thinks he is going to walk off with my wallet, than he winks at me an puckers up his lips. Hell I would have preferred that he was a mugger I promptly made my way to the next car.

I can put up with that.

What I cant put up with is a poorly run business like MARTA.

I cant put up with buses late to arrive and late to leave cause the damn bus driver is doing everything but driving the bus.

Like the one who driver who decides she needs to have a conversation with every other bus driver before she pulls off.

I cant stand the fact that YOU KNOW the damn Falcons or the Georgia Tech Football teams have home games and you don't schedule more train running thus flooding the platform with drunk fans who have no idea that your supposed to WAIT AND MAKE ROOM for arriving passengers to get off the train or bus before trying to get on.

The idiots block the doors and look at you like your crazy when you don't move, like your supposed to teleport your way out of there.

Move!

Then there is the lousy scheduling for people who work third shift or out in the sticks.

Let you not make that train station by 1245, your stuck where ever your at.

This city forces you to get a car, and that's for real.

I like riding good public transit but when i moved down here it was so random i had to learn to drive, at 21 years old.

Then they got the nerve to hike fairs, and people have the nerve to complain about traffic.

First let me say that there certain brands I just wont support.

I do not do Nike despite how good their product is cause I don't like their business practice.

I don't do Starbucks cause they are HIGHLY overrated with their coffee.

And with the exception of Chevy trucks I do not do American cars, just not reliable, I do not care how cheap the parts are I should not have to be seeing a mechanic in less than a year for major work and I damn sure shouldn't have to buy special equipment to work on it my self.

Why the hell should I have to flip the engine to change spark plugs?

And the bottom of the barrel of American brands are Chrysler, Dodge and that despicable Pontiac.

In case of the first two, I don't know how those brands are still in business, after earlier this year, I thought they were done for.

Patience

The professor in class asked a question about the patience displayed by the main character of the Shawshank Redemption movie Andrew "Andy" Dufresne who is sentenced to two consecutive life sentences at Shawshank State Penitentiary in Maine for murdering his wife and her lover.

The question being to put ourselves in his place and describe the Patience needed to make it.

Now I would like to point out that for one, Andy’s patience ran out as he eventually escaped after realizing the limits and futility of his own patience, second you do not have to imagine what it would be like to live through this since in real life there are hundreds of former prisoners who have been wrongly convicted only to be released later after the truth inevitably emerges from the darkness.

They are experts in the matter and could give most Buddhist Monks a run for their money on what it means to be patient.

I have watched these men, through the media, as they embrace their freedom with a calm that to me is so shocking that it borders on terrifying.

How does someone maintain their sanity after pleading, screaming, bargaining for anyone to listen that they are innocent?

How do you control of your emotions, and achieve a level of peace KNOWING that you are paying for a crime you did not commit?

All the while caged like an animal surrounded by men who have committed REAL crimes against their fellow man and who have built a culture in those prisons were the weak are preyed upon and the solution seems to be to become a predator.

How do you not let hate eat away at your soul and lash violently out at the world trying to make it feel the pain you suffered with all those years stuck in time as the rest of the world kept turning, not just leaving you behind but forgetting about your existence all together?

How do you not let the stress kill you, or for that matter how do you not kill yourself?

I can only speculate on what it takes, because I have never walked in those shoes and I pray that I never do.

Hate would be my close friend in there, my confidant, and my support.

The only thing I can think of is that these men have consciously or sub-consciously practiced a combination of mediation, denial, hope and faith.

Meditation to clear the mind of all distractions and allowing for focus.

The denial of the despair that creeps into you and allows you to accept your fate, abandoning the future.

Hope that your freedom will be given back to you.

And finally, faith, faith in the world that it will open its eyes and see your innocence.

This is what I believe will allow them to ease the stress of their minds and hold on to their sanity and eventually leave prison still human and maybe better off than what they were before.

That is what I think it would take to come out of their alive. Alive and at peace with not only yourself but those around you and more importantly those who are responsible for your incarceration.

I cannot say that I am that type of person who would have the types of tools to make it out. But seeing men like the ones who did make it out gives me hope at the very least.

I like to think that there is a reasonable explanation for everything.

There are two sides to every story.

Break down complex problems into small pieces and start with the simplest one first and life gets much clearer I think.

There are no mysteries just problems waiting to be solved.

But every now and than you come across some nasty looking piece of logic left in the middle of the road by some fucked up nut that makes you stop and say what the hell is this?

Case in point I was outside over at a friend's place talking when one of her neighbors drove up got out of her car with her boyfriend and kid and went to her apartment.

My friend remarked how she couldn't stand the woman, now before I could stop my self I asked why, seeing how the last time I was around they were very friendly with each other.

Apparently they had a falling out.

Observation: What I have noticed, and some of you might want to take this as a warning, is that when women fall out with each other, or with men for that matter, every little dirty secret that they shared with each other gets thrown out in the street.

She than tells me that this woman is,

1- divorced,

2- former stripper,

3- bisexual but is currently dating this one dude.

4- she is 37 he is 25,

5- he despite being younger is controlling in the relationship and demands that she be around at all times when he is not out doing something.

6- she has herpes which she contracted from her ex husband.

I stopped her on the last part, she had me hooked so I asked the obvious questions, like does the current boyfriend know?

Yes he knows or rather he was informed by her after they slept together a few times.

Her rational for this is that she was not having an out break, they only had sex with out a condom twice and she regularly takes her medication for it.

Here is a little bit of info for you, some one who has herpes simplex viruses type 1 or 2 can transmit the virus to another person with out having out break.

A condom will not save you and the medication does not cure you.

So dude gets tested and comes out negative, but get this......he comes back to her.

I thought I was hearing things but hell I just saw him get out the car with her so I guess so.

I don't know maybe it's just me......

I could be overly sensitive.......

Maybe I am just not that opened minded.......

I just cant see my self running back into the arms of a woman who gave me an STI......

No, hell no, especially after I lucked out and tested negative.

When I worked in a clinic I came across all sorts of diseases that would make the CDC blow up, and I never blinked an eye.

But herpes was the one thing I just couldn't be around, it shook the hell out of me, made my skin crawl.

I can deal with HIV, full blown AIDS, Swine Flu, walking pneumonia, bacterial meningitis you name it.

Not herpes.

So at this point I am not even thinking of her trifling ass I'm think about his trifling ass and what the hell is running through his head.

And I don't want to hear that love mess either.

Sharing a disease might be the ultimate expression of love from what ever planet these two are from but I would rather take a bullet for you instead.

That is just twisted.

Now I know there are people who are desperate for companionship, they need a person, any type of person, to make them feel whole.

But come the hell on man, herpes?

Growing up in New York there was some these that was just mandatory if you were a true black man.

You had to know how to play ball.

You had to have a ball cap.

You had to be arrogant as hell.

You have to have a PhD in smack talking.

But most of all you had to have at least one pair of Timbs.

And if it was just one pair it had to be the standard honey wheat.

It was part of the New York uniform, anything else was looked down upon, that included those high end brands like the Polo boots.

They had to be Timbs, didn't matter that the company didn't want black men wearing their boots for what ever reason.

That just gave us the green light to steal their shit, but get it we would.

But that was back in the day, today it is rare to see Timbs on the streets, I have no idea why, I stopped buying them awhile ago for no specific reason so I am just now hearing about the decline in quality and it not being stylish any more.

But after reading this I am hoping for a come back.

The Obama's "Option" is in!!!

Actually credit goes to Harry Reid for putting the states the choice of opting out of the Option.

Now a couple of things.

1- Credit for Reid for showing some balls and rolling them on the table with what should have been a no brainer. (I was beginning to think that Alan Grayson was the only Dem willing to throw down.)

2- The trigger that was talked about before was iffy at best and no one could tell you exactly what would be good enough to pull the trigger.

3- He is going to be in a hell of a re-election so might as well go out with a bang if your going.

4- It's giving the states the option to say no, and we know how batty some of those states can be, see Texas, South Carolina, and Louisiana.

But I know a bunch of signifying monkeys when I see them.......

They were talking that smack about not taking stimulus money either and just as quick flip flopped and grabbed their share of that cash.

5- This isn't for everyone, it's only for those who are uninsured.

6- Still need 60 votes to get it passed and the bottom line is the real reason we haven't gotten this done yet is not because of the Republicans but because of the cowardly Dem's who are scared to death of the right.

He is underwriting college scholarships for a hundred students over five years through a program called Hunter’s 100, and built a youth baseball field in California in an effort to encourage inner-city kids to play the game. He’s also put money into a food-distribution network here, and, according to Skip Perkins Jr., the athletic director at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, is by far the biggest contributor to the $5 million Torii Hunter Baseball, Softball and Little League Complex on a 15.5-acre parcel that is being built adjacent to the campus.

"You can’t meet a better person than Torii Hunter. He’s one in a billion," Perkins says.

I like to point out the athletes who are doing positive things especially when they give back to the communities they come from, because the media will always give these type of activities as back page press in favor of misconduct by a few others.

To let them say it there all hyper-sexual criminally leaning, thugs, which is that is what they think of the community at large.

I wish I could feel sorry for the kid but I cant, hell wish I could say I am angry about it all but not really.

I am keeping it simple for this Tuesday and saving the tounge in cheek commentary, to say Happy Belated Birthday to the Reverend Joseph Lowery who celebrated his 88th birthday at Morehouse college.

From the AJC:

The event featured civil rights icons as well as Aretha Franklin.

She was the highlight of a night that featured dancing, music and plays focusing on Reverend Lowery's life.

The $50-a-head ticket went to support the Joseph E. Lowery Institute for Justice and Human Rights.

Mildred Drayton says Dr. Lowery is an inspiration to youth today.

Lowery was pastor of the Warren Street United Methodist Church, in Mobile, Alabama from 1952 until 1961.

His career in the civil rights movement began in the early 1950s in Mobile, Alabama.

After Rosa Parks' arrest in 1955, Lowery helped lead the Montgomery bus boycott. He headed the Alabama Civic Affairs Association, an organization devoted to the desegregation of buses and public places.

In 1957, with Martin Luther King, Jr. Lowery founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and subsequently led the organization as its president from 1977 to 1997.

****I was going to do this as a Good News Tuesday post but hell everyone knows about this.

Congratulations to President Obama for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Although I have no idea why you won it, but here is what I am guessing;

1- You won it for bringing awareness about.....I guess peace.

Several award winners have won the award before actually achieving anything, Al Gore won it for bringing attention to global warming and that's still and issue.

The idea here is about potential, which leads to......

2- Potential.

This maybe a slick way by the award givers to to try to influence the Presidents future actions specifically in foreign policy.

The President has to make a decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan or pulling out, there is the mess that is Iraq, the pests that is North Korea, the two faced Pakistan, treacherous Iran, and the more trouble than they will ever be worth Israel.

Lets be real could you really blame Obama if the first thing he did when he got to office was to press the hell out of the big red button?

I know I wouldn't.

This maybe away of saying "please take it easy".

3- For being black.

I cringe at this one but this is a possibility, this country is not considered enlightened when compared to the Europeans who enjoy reminding us about this.

Yet we elected a black President, that's something the eastern Europeans and the old colonial powers including the swirl spots that is Britain and France can never claim to come close to doing.

That is something to think about and also a cause for reflection, as in what the hell is wrong with y'all.

4- And finally and my favorite, for just not being George Bush.

Just that simple, Bush, and "the gang that could shoot straight", big bully foreign politic style pissed the entire planet off.

Anything other than him would be a welcome change.

Went to a friend's house to watch the Kimbo Slice farce on TV.

He had a young lady over who he met a couple of weeks ago at a gas station, this would be their first date.

They were all lovey dovey at first than things change, the phone rings, or to be specific her phone rings.

All through the night she is on the phone, but not just that, she is walking into other rooms to talk, walking outside, and at one point locking herself in the bathroom.

She is talking so much that she borrows my phone when her phone goes dead and doesn't charge fast enough.

Off the rip I knew it was another dude she was talking to by her behavior, that and the fact that she was yelling on the phone explaining were she wasn't.

But she is young, which means she is dumb and it's not my problem.

But my homeboy on the other hand is .38 hot about it, he think it's rude and truth is, it is.

Hella rude.

So after the fight he bangs on the bathroom door and tells her it's time to go, she steps out and doesn't miss a beat, phone in ear yapping away, all the while he is talking to her demanding to know why she is acting like that and this cluck is ignoring him and still talking on the phone.

All the way to the car.

I jump in the back seat so I can get a ride to the liquor store before heading to the house, she is riding shotgun and yapping away, he is yelling at her, she is still ignoring him, so he turns the radio up.

Way up.

She tries to turn it down he slaps her hand away and NOW she gives him his attention, the argument starts, he is calling her all sorts of bitches at this point.

And she is cursing right back, this goes on while he makes a U-turn and decides to drop her off at the train station and kick her out the car, in the middle of the cold as hell night.

We get there and he he tells her to bounce to which she refuses to do.

My buzz from the drinking......completely shot.

It's at this point she wants to explain why she is on the phone and basically showing her ass.

Apparently she is 2 months pregnant and she is trying to get the dude on the phone to pay for the abortion.

Yes....that's right.....I will give you time to digest this........

I'm speechless, not that I was saying anything anyway, but homeboy who just got this bit of info doesn't miss a beat.

"Bitch get the fuck out."

She than turns to me and asks me if that isn't an important enough reason to be on the phone.

I don't even know this chick, so I say, hey this is between you all, I can see in the look in her eyes she doesn't like that one bit.

But damn that, I came to see a professional fight on TV not an amateur one from the back seat of a Chevy.

This chick than says she is going to call the cops if he tries to put her out, that's when I try to say something but before I could get the words out of my mouth she cuts me off with "no don't try to say anything now you didn't want to speak before your not a real man, there are no real men in this car no real man would put a woman out" and she sides eye my homeboy.

I'm in the back like stunned, "say what...." is all I could get out my mouth, my homeboy doesn't miss a beat again, he goes "yeah but a real nigga would now bitch get out."

She again refuses, so he says "OK you wont? I bet you will be out when I take you around the corner."

And speeds off.

Well I guess the girl got the hint and jumps out of the car as he is driving off.

A particularly impressive move since she landed on her feet, in high heels, and STILL manages to slam the door while getting out.

I mean I got to give the girl 20 points for that for real.

Homeboy in the mean while is still hot and going off about it while driving.

And to top it off the time wasted on this episode caused me to miss the getting to the store before it closes.

Socrates last lesson to Plato was not something he said but something that he did, he died, to be specific he was executed by the influential group of citizens of Athens who did not appreciate his social and moral standards and what they viewed as the corruption of the minds of the youth.

Plato was very bitter about this and he blamed the city state of Athens for Socrates death, by allowing ignorant people to take the life of one of the greatest minds of that time.

Now here is were it all comes together, Athens was a Democracy, this was not lost on Plato who later described Democracy as one of the lesser forms of government beneath Aristocracy, Timocracy, Plutocracy and just above Despotism, because it made equals of the educated and the uneducated.

He saw this as an danger as the state and the elite of society would be subject to the emotional and ignorant whims of the masses whose concerns were always short sighted an unenlightened.

When I watched this video I know exactly what Plato was talking about.

I came across this post over at True Urban Queen, and it got me thinking.

For those who don't know there was some issues on the reality show Real House Wives of Atlanta, (a show points out that cash and class do not go togther), about Kandi's former "alleged" fiance who has a few baby mommas.

It seems there are a few people on and off the show who have problems with that.

It goes from having issues with dude having too many out of wedlock kids to dude having kids at all.

All complaints from women.

Now this is a case were everyone should be watching what they say.

I think if your talking about a serious relationship than yeah you have to take into consideration the kids, X 10 if your a man.

For a woman it maybe that they don't want to deal with a baby mommas but chances are you will see little of them or the kids.

Most men have to go get them and women are not obligated to go along for the ride.

A woman can get away with that.

For a dude dealing with a woman with kids is another story.

Everything is either planned around or with the kids in mind.

It means the kids are in your face all the time and you are automatically expected to participate in their lives at some point.

Doesn't matter if she has the same baby daddy, (I like this fantasy women tell themselves that they are some how a step above others in the minds of men because they got the same baby daddy for their kids, think again ladies).

Now the reason I point this out is that pressure from outsiders may have contributed to Kandi's relationship demise.

Which pretty much makes her a weak ass woman in my book to be letting outsiders get in her head.

Add to the fact that you let other women WHO NEVER BEEN MARRIED, and OR ARE BABY MOMMAS themselves, including Kandi own momma tell you about your self looks real weak.

Now this goes back to watch what you say because if men kept the same attitude of women who do not want to deal with men with kids than there would be a lot of lonely baby mommas out there with dusty coochies.

The whole idea behind tasers are to prevent shootings and a safe alternative for taking a suspect down that will lessen the chance of injury to the officer and the suspect WHEN FORCE IS NECCESSARY.

I am pretty sure these cops are supposed to be using their mouths first to defuse a situation to get a suspect to cooperate, but once you put a taser in their hands it's as if they are given the green light to abandomn all procedure and act a damn ass.

The devices are being used as a first option in many cases and used as a torture device.

I prefer to concern myself with the where abouts of my own penis instead of that of others.

This passing of judgment on both men and the woman for making an adult choice is childish.

4- I thought she was white Symphony pointed out she was black, not a good look for the sistas, but since the dudes were black not a good look for us, score one for racist and the battle of the sexes.

5- There is way to much complaining about how this will be used "against" other rape victims.

No, it will be used against other LYING ass women who want to falsely accuse men of rape.

6- If it is used against a rape victim than the apologist may blame the LIARS for opening the door for that.

I take my hat off to him on his technical brilliance, Juan had no chance against him but anyone who who has followed Floyd through his career knew that.

The action here was trying to figure out when the knock out was supposed to happen.

But Mr. Play It Safe decides he is going to pot shot Juan for 12 rounds even after dropping him in the second.

Some would say that he was showing his technical skills but there is a difference between a defensive fighter and one who is playing not to lose.

At some point fans are going to have to get wise and say this guy is not worth the money unless he gets in there with a real threat.

An to be honest I don't see Manny Pacquiao as that threat.

Which is what this "tune-up" fight was supposed to lead up to, a match up against Manny, the most exciting fighter out right now.

I love Manny but this is a suckers bet against Floyd, you can only give up so much weight, and size against another man while both having equal skills.

As much as I despise Floyd right now the odd are in his favor and more importantly he is the type of person who will not get in that ring unless he has all the angles covered.

I been busy this week so I missed out on Maia Campbell bandwagon.

Hell I wasn't going to say anything because this wasn't the first time she has acted a fool on camera, but for what ever reason this time has everyone on the net bent out of shape.

So what I did do was take the time read every one's opinion about her situation.

Now it's my turn.

I see that people and a lot of black women in particular love to place blame everywhere but where it should be, and that's with Maia Campbell.

They want to blame the people recording her, (true scumbags, but welcome to the street life).

They want to blame websites for posting the video (bump that, you put your self out there like that you don't get a pass on grounds of morality).

They want to blame the government for lack of funding (so where are you when every one is acting a fool about Health Care?)

They want to blame the "black" community, (rightfully so they have always treated mental health as voudou).

Everyone and everything but the person who deserves it and that's Maia Campbell.

Maia is the one who chose not to take her medications for her mental illness, (if she has one), for what ever self centered reasons.

Maia is the one who chose to self medicate with Meth and any other drug that helps her get to the state of mind she wants.

Maia is the one who allowed herself to be exploited.

Maia is the one who has turned down people's offers of help.

Maia is the one to blame.

If you have any insight on people with mental illness and drug abuse than you already know that you can not help those who do not want to help themselves.

You can drag that girl out of a car, wrap her up in a straight jacket, deposit her in a mental and drug rehab center, load her up on what ever drugs they prescribe, assign a Nut Cracker to her to talk to her day in and out about everything that has gone wrong in her life and the moment you let her go....

the moment you say bye.....

the moment you think she has got it.....

she will be right back on the street looking to get high, looking for a new "boyfriend", looking for the same life.

Because she didn't want your fucking help in the first place.

Ive seen it before, so you will excuse me if I shed no tears for her, if I don't rip my hair out, if I don't scream into the sky about the injustice of living in a world that would treat such a "lady" like this.

When Maia Campbell wants to help herself and get some help than some one will give it to her, believe that.

Anything that happens to her is her own fault.

So I am going to take the opportunity to "exploit" the hell out of her ass.

Not for my own laughs this time but to show who ever comes across this post black or white male or female, that this is what some one looks like when they don't take their meds.

This is what some one looks like when they abuse drugs.

This is what some one looks like when they don't want to help themselves.

This is what happens when you don't take mental health seriously.

This is what happens when you don't as your politician about funding for state mental health clinics.

Enough people see this maybe she will come to her sense and get the help she needs it worked for Soulja Girl.

Hopefully no one will forget about it afterwards.

I regret not having the opportunity to meet her in person, if she was half as wonderful as she was on her blog than I missed out on having a really good friend.

The great thing about bloggers is that you can really tell by there writing how a person looks on the inside as well on the outside.

Nikki was beautiful inside and out and it showed like a light.

It saddens me that I didn't get the chance to warm my self in her light.

You Can't Be Christian And Against Health Reform.

I'm not a religious man, cant remember the last time I actually sat down and read the bible.

Same thing for the last time I went to church, but I did go on a regular basis at one time and I did read the bible when I was into the church.

And I recall an overall theme in the bible of loving thy neighbor, taking care of the poor, needy and sick.

At least in the New Testament if I recall correctly, that old Testament God came off like a bully).

That is the some of the blue print that Christians are supposed to follow when interacting with each other.

But like most beliefs, regardless if it's religious or politics, it all sounds good on paper but the execution is always suspect.

Communism?

Great idea until the Soviets got a hold of it.

Socialism?

Remember the Nazi?

Democracy?

Shopping list of offensives which this country is not exempt from.

Christianity?

The bible or the sword mentality backed by who is paying the most in tithe.

Islam?

Better that we don't speak on it.

No, all theories are brilliant on paper but man has always acted like Mr. Magoo when it came to following God's work or man's own bright ideas.

Health care reform is apparently no exception, the Public Option is a way to get coverage to those who cant afford insurance, don't qualify for insurance because of pre-existing conditions or are denied care.

Explain to me how that is unchristian like?

Hell, to me denying the public option is a sure fire way to go to hell if you ask me.

And the ones who are the most set against this care are the ones who loooove to evoke God's name every 5 minutes.

Hypocrites at their finest.

Now don't get me wrong I understand that there are some concerns that would give a Real Christian doubts, such as the abortion question which would be funded by the plan.

An idea that I personally don't think should have been added on to there so as to make the passage of the bill that much smoother.

I don't believe in abortion in many cases but the way I see it is a woman's choice and I let God to be the one to set the record straight on the issue when the finale day comes.

I just want to be warned in advance so I don't get caught standing next to them in line when the lighting hits.

But that's the only rational explanation I will accept from anyone who calls themselves a Christian on the matter.

And even than I do not believe in denying health care to so many because your worried about some irresponsible people taking the easy way out.

That's an issue that can be dealt with by reaching out to the communities and speaking to people about abstinence and protection.

So please remove religion out of this debate, leave race out of it, remove Democracy vs Socialism from it, (cause this country is actually a really big corporation not a a Democracy), instead focus on is it going to work, how much is it going to cost and what are the alternatives.

Here are my top 10 Power rankings.

1- Patriots

Tom Brady is back, that's all they have been waiting for.

You would have thought it was the Return of the King, but after last year can you blame them?

This wasn't the same team with out him, and if he isn't rusty than the AFC has hell to pay.

2- Steelers

They had everything fall in place for them last year, it wont happen this year.

The D is just a tad bit slower and that means the O has to do just a little bit more, cant see that happening.

3- Bears

Jay Cutler is not as overrated as people think, yeah he doesn't have the WRs that he had in Denver but he wont have to chuck it like he had to down there either.

All he has to do is not screw up.

A hard thing to do when your missing pieces on O.

4- Giants

OK I confess I got them this high cause there my team but also cause no one in the NFC scares me.

But Eli Manning has no go-to WR, the Giants spent the whole off season ignoring that fact.

This year it's all about smash mouth football even more than last year, cause the truth is I don't trust Eli to go through the season having to win it with his arm, not the whole season.

5- Colts

Peyton is healthy everything is the same on the team especially his offensive coordinator.

6- Cowboys

I got nothing nice to say about them.

It's all on Tony Romo now, they are NOT a better team with out TO, TO wasn't the reason they tanked.

First up is a mix of two of my favorite genres, zombie and cowboy movies.

Wes is the only black actor who stays making action movies and thank God cause the new crop of actors are not convincing anyone that they can play a hero.

Number two is Denzel going back to an action flick, I cant remember the last one he did.

The Book Of Eli looks like a winner, hell I cant remember the last Denzel movie that sucked all around for me to justify seeing this one.

Public Service Announcement 10: MOMS

This is not about MILFs, (I'll save that for another time).

MOMS is actually a acronym for Missing Or Murdered Sisters, a group of residents in North Carolina has placed a digital billboard up in their community showing the faces of the the missing and murders of black women the city of Rocky Mountain (read here).

5 of the murders are connected which is a sign that there is a serial killer out there who is targeting black women with similar backgrounds.

The murders date back to 2005 and progress has been slow in solving the cases as well as very little public attention given to it.

There are a number of reason why this might be, first being that the women are all black.

In a society that sees very little value in the lives of blacks in general, even among our own, the sad truth is the lives of black women are seen as doubly cheap and thus expendable.

To add on to this the life style of the women, who struggled with drug addiction and engaged in prostitution, may have consciously or subconsciously allowed the public to dismiss the murders all together as something of a "natural" occurrence to people in that life style.

That type of thinking is cruel and dangerous.

These women were human beings first.

These women were someones mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and or friend.

Some one at one time or another loved them and will miss them.

No one can be certain what the circumstances in their lives were that led them down this path but I have learned over time a turn left instead of right, a choice taken or not taken, a choice forced upon you, can easily be the difference maker on whether you become a CEO or First Lady or a junkie and or worse.

What I am certain is that if given the right amount of time, attention, and help anyone can change, but these women were robbed of even that small opportunity, something they were at the very least deserving of having.

Surely their lives were worth that small price.

And despite the pattern who is to say that the next woman would not be a stand up citizen in society?

A single working mother on her way home from a long day at work.

A college student rushing to class to take her final.

A house wife shopping for the kids.

A young lady starting a job in the career she worked hard to get.

Whose to say it wouldn't be you?

That control is not in your hands, it's in the hands of a predator who sees you as prey.

He is the judge, jury, an executioner, playing God with someones life.

If not for their lives than what about yours?

I joke around about I thank God I was born a man but not really, it's hell out here for women and black women rank last in that category, that needs to change like yesterday.

I never liked NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Nothing personal, it's not like I was hating him for no reason he earned it.

You see when he first got the gig, (which I was happy about because people kept bouncing the idea of Condoleezza Rice which would have drove me nuts), I said cool.

Like any incoming administrator he wanted to set the rules down. Show people how he wanted things run, and what the goals were.

His platform was to protect the brand that is the NFL, cause unlike other sports the teams and the league are bigger stars than the players, that's the way they set it up.

And protecting the bran means cracking the whip on misbehavior of players around the league who couldn't keep their nose, hands and penises clean.....literally.

No more boys will be boys, it's men will be men from now on.

How can you argue with that?

but than my radar started going off, the one that automatically kicks and fills me with an extreme dislike for people in authority who I think hold too much power.

Power with no checks and balances and no sense of justice.

You see it kicked in with Adam "Pacman" Jones who got suspended for getting in a fight.

Now trust me Adam did enough to warrant something, like the Stupidest N@#$ in the World Award, but the back of my mind kept saying "how do you justify suspending some one who hasn't been convicted of a crime?".

Than there was Chris Henry, another nominee Stupidest N@#$ in the World Award for who caught a suspension for allegedly punching some kid in the face.

Charges that never made it to court but didn't stop him from getting a suspension.

Again there goes that radar.

There are some more names on the list that you can say deserved it but the one that sticks out is Mike Vick, suspended before he ever got to court, for a crime against animals with the old commish toying with the idea of suspending him even longer now that he is out of jail.

My radar went ballistic during this period.

No this guy has a little too much juice and no one is questioning him about it.

Not the media who in reality hate professional athletes out of pure jealousy and revel in their falls.

Not players who cant seem to understand that they are basically working on a plantation were the teams will use and spit you out with little to know compensation.

Not the Player's Union, who by their very definition should be all over Goodell's butt when ever he looks side ways at a player, which only confirms my belief that they are in cohots with each other thus giving it to the players from both ends.

Not a word.

Roger Goodell is the Dick Cheney of football prosecutor, judge, executioner and 0 accountability.

Two time Super Bowl champ all around good guy, one of the NFL's favorite sons, has been accused of rape.

Now personally, I'm not buying it.

There are too many holes in this story.

BUT

In the Kingdom of Goodell accusation is enough, Ben doesn't have to go to trial, he if he settles out of court it might as well be a guilty verdict.

If he goes to trial well than he should be suspended like the other players who who never made it to trial before be told to get to stepping.

The only way out of this for Ben is if the accuser got up there and said, "hey I'm lying I was just trying to get a check.".

That's the only way given Goodell's track record.

Now if Goodell doesn't do anything........well I'm going to call a spade a spade and say this is some racist bullshit.

And that goes for the Union too if they open their mouths up now.

And maybe that will wake the players up to see how there is not much difference between this..........

Boxing has a special spot in my heart when it comes to sports so when I hear things like this it cuts a little deeper.

I followed Vernon's career since he was an Atlanta native and watched his professional highs in wines over Sugar Shane Mosely, and lows in his loss to Ricardo Mayorga.

It hurts even more since the man gave back to the community with his Destiny's Child charity which assisted mentally challenged adults, another sticking point for me.

He will be missed.

This marks the third time in less than a two months that an athlete has died by violence and all of it was preventable on their part.

Vernon didn't have to chase those thugs but for what ever reason he did and now his community will be robbed of his light for it.

He will be missed, my condolences to his family.

The girl I was dating at the time was 25 back than and truth be told was not really about nothing so I can see why she might have developed an admiration for a woman she thought was going some where.

I wasn't going to be the one to tell her friend was full of it and just using you, she was happy.

Let me explain something I don't believe in having dominating some ones time because I don't want mine eaten up.

She is disappearing with Denise during holidays.

That right there is was the straw that broke the camels back , I told her one night that she needed to go fuck Denise and be happy cause I was out.

I'm not going to crazy over you because your girl is all in your ear giving you advice but mean while her dumb ass ain't got ish to show for in her life.

For some one who is supposed to be wishing all women a serious case of swine flu like yeast infections I damn sure find myself in their company a lot.

Ive been doing the lunch date thing quite a bit lately.

Monday I took, will call her...Ms. K, to lunch at Moe's.

Nice little semi Mexican spot with good food in Decatur.

Ive knew her through a neighbor she was staying with were always hanging out in front of our building like it's a New York corner so we new each other casually.

She is chocolate skin, full lips with puffy cheeks, she has the type of eyes that squint up when she isn't wearing her glasses but she looks real good with frames on.

We were chilling and I decided to ask her out for lunch which she agreed to, you see when you do the lunch thing it is like a pre date date.

When you take out some at night there is the understanding that this is a getting to know you date to see what road we are taking which should lead straight to the bed.

For some women knowing the end goal can be like a knowing the end of a book or a movie, basically they'll get around to reading or watching it when they feel like it.

But the lunch date?

Aha, now that right there is my opportunity to see what type of woman you are first cause in the middle of the day your not thinking about how the night is going to end your thinking about how the day ends.

It's like that movie were the guy masturbates before going out with a woman, joke if you want but that is the truth, bust one before you go out and you will be shocked how attentive and patient you are with a woman no matter how hot she is.

So that's what the lunch date feels like your more paying attention to what this lady is about and I did find out a bit.

The conversation was smooth going over some nachos and cold fruit juice, which was well need considering how hot it was that day.

She not too long ago separated from her husband who was cheating on her, leaving her three sons in his custody, that's why she was crashing at her cousin and his girl's house till she got back on her feet.

She got married at 16 is now 28, and never worked a day in her life and is currently unemployed, (not a good look), and has no intention of going back to him, (I understand that), but does plan on getting married again, (wont be me) and having another kid, (damn sure it wont be me).

Plans on going back to school, (good) for medical billing, (not good), she has a tongue ring, (freak), smokes weed, (don't care), drinks, (welcome to the club), sleeps all day, (problem), and hinted at being bisexual, (JACKPOT!!).

She seems like a nice woman but truth is I am just going through the motions, I'm still shell shocked from the go around with the ex so i have been giving women big talk and no action.

I ain't going to bust a grape with her, and I knew it going in, but I figure if I get back in the saddle I'll be flying down the trail in no time.

So I'll probably be posting a lot more of these day light rendezvous, but hey I got nothing better to do.

Here is some background, I have noticed a change in a friend who I was really digging, but she was just not into me.

Before it was all about marriage having another kid to add to the ones she has, and being loved.

Now it's about hustling dudes, partying, and what not.

Just real grimy type of stuff that she does that either has started up recently or I may have never noticed before.

Well this "church" going girl who a few years ago was so against abortion now decides to get one since she got knocked up by some dude.

The dude refuses to give up the money for it and says to her "that's your problem".

This "church" going girl than gets her cousins to beat dude down and wreck his car.

This friend than comes to me crying about the situation she is in but doesn't ask me for the money but instead asks for money to get her car title out of pawn which she will re pawn for the $500 it apparently costs to get an abortion.

I go ahead and give it to her.

I am no saint but my moral code is drawn at the line of abortion in any case except rape, incest, or the chance the mother loses her life.

But since she is asking for money for the car and not the abortion I think it's OK.

But now the back of my mind is moving up to the front and mixing me up, I am feeling I violated my own moral code here.

If a crack head ask you for money to get something to eat and you know he is just going to buy crack with it but you give it to him anyway you are an enabler.

So now I am thinking I just enabled this woman to do what she is going to do anyway and I am feeling twisted about it, I feel like I sinned.

I cant ask for the money back at this point.

And to top it off I am really some what disgusted by her a little bit for the way she has been turning out, I KNOW I cant look at her as the same person I met and that irks me to no ends.

People evolve and some degenerate but rarely do they stay the same as they were when they were younger.

But when your not ready for their growth you can get sucked into the hurricane that is their life and you make a move or two based on that which will begin to fuck with you.

She is going to sleep sound tonight, and I am going to be tossing and turning.

The little girl I blessed on her graduation day and seemed to have attitude?

Flunked the reading part of her exam that is required to test out of her grade.

On one side I feel bad for her to be stuck in summer school, on the other hand..........

This time they played slick and didn't have the assigned textbooks for classes listed.

Which means no shopping online for a deal, which means stuck paying $122 for a used softcover 350 page chemistry book.

I was in the OR assisting a doctor who was supposed to take a small biopsy of some cysts that this woman had growing in her uterus, now Gyn and Proc are considered "dirty" procedures so not much emphasis is put in sterility but your still expected to keep a clean ship.

Well the Doctor decided she was going to do the operation in her flip flops, problem was she chose a very ripe cysts for the biopsy.

She burst it making the incision and the next thing you know this funky fluid the exact color and thickness of nacho cheese comes pouring out......

......and splashes all over feet, she tries to get up and back off and winds up slipping in the mess.

That was all I needed to see, from that day on I made sure to trade off on any Gyn procedure.

****Forgot to mention me and Ms. GG went to see the Bodies Exhibit a while back.

It was interesting but it kept playing in my mind that this was a human being that I am looking at on display here.

Yeah it's a learning tool and the deceased gave the OK, (I think), but it's still a bit unnecessary and morbid if you ask me.

Hell I'll go on to say out right disrespectful, there was nothing up there that they couldn't manufacture and show.

Which means the real appeal is ogling some ones stripped down corpse out on display.

So when ever I come across an artist that makes an effort I give him or her his respect, and if they do exceptional work I big them up.

K'Naan gets the big up treatment.

The beats are crisp and simple and a bit nostalgic inducing with track like "ABCs", (ft Chubb Rock), lamenting the lack of book education for the young forcing them to be street educated instead.

There's T.I.A (This Is Africa), a track where he lets "studio gangstas" know what hardcore life in Africa is really like.

Than there is the "If Rap Gets Jealous” (featuring Kirk Hammett of Metallica) were he defends his right to think outside the box of Hip-Hop.

And to top the whole thing off the man can spit hot fire, lyrically smooth and clever a breath of fresh air to what is just basically conversational raps we here now on the radios.

This album is not as earthy as his first album The Dusty Foot Philosopher, but it's easier to digest for the casual rap fan.

Remember the kid's graduation I went toin the last post?

I brought her one a Mario Kart game for her Nintendo DS last Friday and left it at a friends house who she and her mother vists frequently.

The little girl calls me up a couple of times that day and the next asking if I was going to bring it over.

I tell her if I have time I'll try but I have been scrambling all week, besides her mom has a car so I kinda expected her to get it for her.

****A friend invited me to her daughter's graduation last week.

I don't recall having one so I am not sure if this is something new or if most schools have this ceremony, but considering Georgia's drop out rate I guess it's a good idea to have one early for them just in case.
